A few years ago after leaving an abusive relationship I found myself in need of assistance. Although there were numerous programs, they all had long waiting list. My plan is to start off small using a 1 story duplex home as a transitional home for women with children, eventually growing to a larger facility which will house both homeless individuals and families.
My interest is to develope a program that will provide housing, educational development, employment assistance, counsiling services and childcare, to aid individuals in transition to obtaining a living wage. The larger facility will also have meeting space set aside for group therapy sessions.
